Dr. Marshall is a change agent. On March 21, while facilitating a brainstorming session in Hyattsville, MD, she quietly delivered a powerful message of discovery and motivation. She identified the pitfalls of the lack of communication, the relevance of claiming what exists by participating in its creation, and the importance of respect. She was able to defend her position with research conducted during her studies. She was creditable and unflappable. Dr. Marshall affected the synergy of the group. She has made an indelible impact on me. Thank you, Dr. Marshall.

Recently I had the opportunity to hear Dr. Diane Marshall as she was the guest speaker for our annual Women’s History Month celebration. Having known Dr. Marshall for several years I anticipated an insightful experience. As expected Dr. Marshall was very engaging in expressing her thoughts and experiences on the program’s theme
‘Champions: The Visionary Woman’. She appeared knowledgeable of the subject and well equipped with facts. She effortlessly depicted many women of everyday prominence whose perseverance, intuitiveness and strength impacted our lives in the past. Additionally, she brought us to the revelation that today’s upcoming visionary women must be nurtured by us in order to secure brighter future. Dr. Marshall creatively presented the topic orally and included visual and musical aspects. She was well received by the audience of her workplace peers, which is a feat in itself. I enthusiastically applaud her talent and the humble spirit that it comes from. I strongly recommend her as a guest speaker on an array of topics. Dr. Diane Marshall is a Champion: The Visionary Woman.

Dear Dr. Marshall,
I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for serving as guest speaker for the Department of Treasury, Fiscal Service, Philadelphia Financial Center’s Annual Women’s History Program. The theme “Visionary Women” was one that touched many of us.
On March 27, 2019, PFC celebrated Women’s History Month with our annual Tea Party. The focus this year was Visionary Women: Champions of Peace and Non-violence. It was a pleasure to hear from one of our very own, Dr. Diane Marshall. You shared your personal thoughts focusing on visionary women and recognizing the impact of their contributions. We appreciate how you reflected upon your personal journey and what being a visionary woman means to you.
Dr. Marshall, your speech was very inspiring and informative. The inspiring stories of visionary women you shared were enlightening. Your words resonated with many of the individuals attentively listening. The event was fun and everyone left feeling inspired and encouraged by you.
We really appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to partake in our celebration of women. This is one of the events covered under our EEO program and therefore, very important to us as an agency.

Caring. Flexible. Intuitive. Engaging.
Those are the first words that come to mind when I think of Dr. Marshall’s dedication to leadership and mentoring. She is 1000% invested into everything that comes within her path. I’ve had the pleasure of working next to Dr. Marshall for years and her passion continues to drive the motivation of those around her. It’s truly infectious! She is a natural born leader, an avid listener and actively empowers those
around here.
Dr. Marshall has a keen ability to swiftly assess a need and it’s more than her empathy and ability to focus on someone else; she is able to uniquely extract what she has heard into valuable, credible insight.

Dr. Marshall is patient and very responsive. She provides a consistent routine with the rise of study support guides, books, and supplemental guides. This process has allowed me to progress through the proposal process and the University IRB process. I would highly recommend Dr. Marshall for all levels of mentoring through the dissertation process. She will make your experience fantastic. I'm so grateful and appreciate her professional services.
Dr. Marshall is an excellent mentor for all levels. I started with no experience with the dissertation proposal process. Dr. Marshall is available for face to face mentoring, and she was available day or night during the week and weekend to assist my dissertation assistance needs. Her flexibility allowed me consistent assistance, regardless of my schedule.
